After “Move the counters,” 2 orange counters fill the empty spots beside the 8 blue counters. Ask: “How many orange counters stayed in the second frame?” Five remain.

0:11–0:18
After “Show the total,” the activity displays 10 + 5 = 15. Ask: “What moved? What stayed the same?” Two counters moved between frames. All 15 counters are still on the board.
