Materials and consumables
What products, quantities and specifications are named?
ESTIMATE INCLUSIONS CHECKLIST
A total does not say who supplies the materials, moves the furniture or returns for a touch-up. Make those questions visible before you finalize an estimate.

SIX COMMON QUESTIONS
These are starting prompts, not a complete checklist for every trade. Use the notes to name quantities, specifications and boundaries. Selecting a category does not record customer agreement.
What products, quantities and specifications are named?
Which preparation steps are actually part of the proposed work?
Who makes the area accessible and moves belongings?
What is being removed, and who handles disposal?
What condition should the workspace be left in?
What follow-up, if any, is part of this proposed scope?
Every question has a category. Review the notes and confirm the details; classification is not acceptance.
It still leaves questions about product, quantity, finish and substitutions. Write the specific detail you know, or name the question you still need answered.
Do not silently assume someone will clear the room or supply an item. Make that handoff explicit and check that it is practical before relying on it.
If a new request changes the scope, keep a record of what changed and revisit the price and timing through your normal process.
“Cleanup” can mean several things. Describe the intended condition of the workspace and anything deliberately left outside this proposal.
FROM SCOPE NOTES TO A QUOTE
ScopeBid builds contractor estimates, reuses past-job pricing and creates shareable PDF quotes and invoices. It also supports change orders and comparisons between estimated and actual job costs.
Explore ScopeBid on the App Store ↗The first three quotes are free; optional Pro unlocks further quoting features. Check the listing for current terms. These browser notes do not sync into ScopeBid or create a quote.
No. It is a worksheet for organizing discussion notes. It contains no price, acceptance record or trade-specific contract terms.
No. The count only reports how many dropdowns still say “To confirm.” It is not a risk assessment or quality score.
Explain that in its notes. The six prompts are deliberately broad; your actual work may need other questions.
No. The tool does not submit or store entries. Copying places the text on your clipboard, and you decide whether to share it.
